V Collection uses advanced TAE® and Phi® modelling technologies that perfectly recreate both the sound and feel of these legendary instruments.Īn army of top-tier sound designers and big-name artists have created some of the most awe-inspiring synth and keyboard patches just for you.Īll the instruments in V Collection are modelled on keyboards that made history. V Collection has grown into the industry reference of software instruments that made music history. They were cutting edge in the 60s, mind-blowing in the 70s, awe-inspiring in the 80s, they’re at the heart of today’s hits, and they’ll help you shape the sound of tomorrow. I have a feeling that in a couple of years all the kinks will be worked out until then I am considering getting a second or even third machine so that I don't have to wait if one needs to be repaired.24 timeless instruments lovingly recreated in software, and modernized with contemporary features. Since I got her I have spent all of my free time carving, staining, and painting so needless to say this will be a pretty boring five days. I am on my second machine (the first one kind of stalled out), and I am more aggravated that I will have to wait five days to start carving again then having to deal with replacing the machine. That being said, if you have the patience to deal with those things this can be an amazing tool. Take into consideration that you may need to purchase extra parts very early, you will certainly have to call for technical help, you may need to send it back to carvewrite a couple times, you may even need to get it replaced 2-4 times before you get a machine that lasts longer than 30 hours. So i understand carvewrights intent to protect user machines from being stolen and used but unable to transfer and use all the upgrades pretty much makes me a non purchaser either for used or new. I am seeing some carvewrights for sale, the owners asking waaay too many dollars for a used machine and are very surprised when i tell them NONE of their upgrades seem to be transferable to a new owner. Basically the machine becomes a dead herring. So, in other words, when you invest your $$ in software and upgrades for your carvewright, you lose all your investment $$ if you wanted to pass the machine on to your son or other family members. Each software enhancement (centerline text, scanning probe, 2d/3d tools, STL importer, DXF importer, etc) has its own activation license and they are set to the owners computer and are not transferable. With each system you are allowed to have the basic designer software licensed on up to two computers. For a used machine, like Brad stated you will need to notify CarveWright to release the used machine from the prior owner.
